Clarissa Jackson is an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and International Behavior Analyst (IBA) dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to clients of many circumstances, challenges, and backgrounds. She brings a strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), holding a Master's in Psychology in ABA and a Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science. Throughout her career, Clarissa has developed expertise in ABA techniques and plan development, knowledge of behavioral strategies, and excellent communication skills. What Families Can Expect from Working with Clarissa
When families work with Clarissa, they can expect a highly individualized and collaborative approach focused on their child's and family's specific needs.
• Customized Programs: Clarissa conducts thorough assessments of clients and produces assessment reports. She develops Individualized Service Plans (ISP) that include interventions to meet the full extent of services authorized. These plans include behavior reduction goals and objectives, skill acquisition, parent and caregiver goals and objectives, and care coordination goals.
• Active Training and Support: Parent and caregiver involvement is crucial for long-term success. Clarissa provides parent/caregiver training on relevant ABA topics and on implementing treatment goals prescribed for their children and ABA principles. She also provides training and supervision to behavior technicians.
• Clinical Oversight: Clarissa develops and supervises behavioral therapy programs for children and adolescents diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. She manages caseloads of clients in both in-home, community and school settings, and observes and assesses client skills and progress to inform recommendations for ongoing intervention and behavioral therapy programming.
• Collaboration: She collaborates with teachers, SLPs, and OTs to ensure collaborative treatment and long-term maintenance of treatment progress.
Clarissa's goal is to ensure comprehensive, individualized care that supports both the client and the family unit.
