About
Hi, My name is Jillisa Tarver, Owner and Clinical Director of JT Behavioral Milestones. I am passionate about using evidence-based practices to help individuals reach their fullest potential. My journey in Applied Behavior Analysis began with a deep interest in how behavior can be shaped to improve lives, especially for those with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). With a background in Psychology and some Special Education), I have honed my skills in understanding behavior patterns and developing individualized intervention plans.
What drives me is the belief that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their challenges. I am committed to creating supportive, compassionate environments where children, adolescents, and adults can develop critical life skills, improve communication, and enhance social interactions. In my work, I emphasize collaboration with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care and maximize outcomes.
Through my experience working with diverse populations, I have developed a culturally sensitive approach, ensuring that interventions are tailored to each individual's unique needs, backgrounds, and family dynamics. My goal is not only to make a difference in the lives of those I work with but also to empower families with the tools and strategies they need for long-term success.
