Jonathan Cornell

Who We Are
Cornell Behavioral Services was founded by Jonathan Cornell, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who has spent his career figuring out how to get the best out of people day-in and day-out. Jonathan has been trained at elite institutions and tested in some of the most competitive, high-stakes environments in the country—playing football at Ole Miss, playing briefly in the NFL, and coaching at the Division 1 level in high school and college level. He is a proud alum of the Mississippi Teacher Corps, where he earned his first Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction and his General Education teaching credentials in English and Social Science. He later earned a second Master's degree and teaching credential in Special Education, and is now a practicing BCBA. Jonathan founded CBS because he believes every family deserves to thrive—and that belief drives everything we do.

We believe parents should be so equipped that they function like trained professionals—because when the session ends, real life continues, and you'll be ready. We don't measure success by data sheets alone—we measure it by birthday parties attended, family dinners completed, and communities that understand your child a little better because you taught them how.
