Kisha Wilson

Kisha began her career in Applied Behavior Analysis therapy in 2012, after her son received a diagnosis of Autism. Upon conducting extensive research, she realized ABA therapy was the best choice for her son. She began as a Behavioral Therapist at a local clinic and immediately enrolled in a graduate program at Sam Houston State University. In 2014, she received her M.Ed. in Special Education.

She has worked in many educational capacities over the years, including higher education, during a time in which she attained her M.A. in both Management and Human Resources Development.

In the realm of special education, she has served as an advocate for caregivers whose loved ones are in public school, she has taught social skills classes to young adults diagnosed with autism, and has been an elementary school special education teacher. She also has worked as a Board Certified Behavior Analysis. In 2018, Kisha began working with her state representative, Senfronia Thompson, creating House Bill 1386 (Autism Clean Up Act-Relating to training and development activities for persons who may interact with an individual with autism or other pervasive developmental disorders)the Autism Clean Up Act became effective September 1, 2019.

Kisha’s lifetime goal is to assist as many families as she possibly can, as they navigate with their loved ones though their autism journey. She feels that being certified in behavior analysis has been the perfect avenue to do just that.
