Yanhong Guo

Hello Families,

My name is Yanhong, and I am excited to introduce myself as someone dedicated to supporting your child’s educational and developmental journey. Originally from China, I came to the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue my Master’s degree in education. After graduating with my M.Ed., I began tutoring various age groups in Mandarin and worked as a freelance translator. My passion for early childhood education led me to complete 24 credits in this field and obtain a state-issued site supervisor permit.

In Berkeley and Marin, I launched afterschool programs providing Mandarin language services and ran several full-day summer camps in Marin County. My career then transitioned to applied behavioral analysis (ABA) in 2016, where I took on a mid-level supervisory role. I earned my Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in 2019 and have since been serving clients aged 2 to 32 in both home and clinical settings.

In 2021, I expanded my expertise to school settings, working with students from elementary to high school. In order to provide better service, I started a Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s program in 2022. I am currently finishing up my practicum training to become an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Families can expect a professional who is not only experienced and well-qualified but also deeply committed to fostering growth and development in diverse educational environments.
